Shamira You need to be a little clearer with respect to what teh BBC Charter actually is. Explain how it is a government document that set up the BBC and it defines the role of the BBC and the manner in which it should operate. The last bullet point also needs to be updated. You are effectively saying that the charter is permission to the organisation as long as the abide by the rules. How could you express that better?
For the BBC Trust section - explain how the Trust is effectively the "protectors of the Licence fee" and as such they monitor the operation of the BBC and set aims and objectives for it.
Give some examples, such as how it will make sure that they provide programmes of public interest, to a wide range of people by having a broad range of stations, catering to many different interests. They also make sure that the station operates in a professional and reasonable manner.
You talk about the different local and national staions. Why do you think there are so many differnt stations? Why do you think the BBC trust makes the BBC have so many different types of stations?
